How do I create a profile?
Click Join Free, fill in your basic details and verify your email, then complete your profile from Edit Profile. New profiles are reviewed by our team before they go live.
Is LS Matrimony free to use?
Yes — registration and browsing are completely free. Our premium plans unlock messaging, advanced filters and other features.
How does the match score work?
We compute compatibility from religion, age preferences, location, education, diet, language, family values, shared interests and personality. The result is shown as a 0–100 score on every profile.
What does the Verified badge mean?
Verified means an admin has reviewed proof of the user's email, government ID, LinkedIn profile or workplace. Each badge type is awarded separately, so a profile may be partially verified.
Who can see my contact details?
Only users you've explicitly favorited or messaged can see your contact information. Premium members can see contact details of their mutual matches.
Can my parents create my profile?
Absolutely. During registration choose Profile for → Son / Daughter / Brother / Sister / Relative. The profile will show a clear "Profile managed by …" indicator so matches know who manages it.
How do I delete my profile?
Open Settings → Delete Account. This action is permanent, so make sure before confirming.
How is my data protected?
Profiles are reviewed before going live, photos and IDs live on encrypted storage, passwords are hashed and we never share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
What if I forget my password?
Use the Forgot Password link on the login screen and we'll email you a secure reset link.
How do I report a fake or inappropriate profile?
Open the profile, tap the three-dot menu and choose Report. Our team reviews every report submitted.
